I now have 3 -- two 160s and a 155. Two of them need the rubber eye-cup...I know this has been discussed before. Some guy named "Sazeech" aka Sy Posner from Brooklyn, NY was writing into one or two of the S8 boards claiming to sell them. Now he has disappeared off the face of the earth. His website and e-mail are gone. Anyone know what happened to him or if there are any other people/organizations selling these?

    What are 160's and 155?

    Hi Michael,
thanks for the link. I'll check it out. The Bolex 155 and 160 are two Super-8 cameras from the late '60s. Very cool in design.
Here's a link to what I'm talking about:

The dude selling them, Sazeech, doesn't seem to be around anymore. His e-mail keeps bouncing back.

    Anyone hear of other sources?

I bought 2 from him for an H8 and I must say they were top rate junk. They weren't smooth, were deformed and way too small (the H8 ones were anyway), one ripped in half as I was painfully putting it on and worst of all they totally reeked of low tide.

Chambliss may be able to dig one up for you.

Thanks for the info, Cameraguy. Maybe that's why he's not around -- too many complaints...

Dominic just wrote me this morning about the Bolex eyecup he got from Chambless -- more junk! And that was their last one...man, I love S8 but tracking down these parts/accessories can be a real pain.
